This is a residential neighborhood of Buenos Aires. There are many beautiful grand historic houses that contrast with very modern apartment blocks with their up to the minute style of architectural sophistication.  It is an area of culture, tradition and history.  Just walking around the neighbourhood you can see some of the magnificent parks, monuments, museums and libraries. 

Belgrano’s cobbled sidewalks, shaded by enormous trees, are a pleasure to stroll, especially with the plethora of cafés, confiterías (pastry shops), and restaurants found along well-established streets

Belgrano is located north of Palermo alongside the River Plate. It encompasses the major streets of Juramento, Cramer, Libertador, Luis Maria Campos, and Cabildo, and is bordered by Avenida Congresso and Avenida de los Incas.

Four subte (subway) stops of the Line D are located within Belgrano all along Avenida Cabildo: Olleros, José Hernandez, Juramento, and Congreso de Túcuman. Bus access is very good throughout the neighborhood by Metrobus, and there are several bike paths.
